The price of root canal treatment in Tallinn
Root canal treatment costs 500–900 euros at our clinic. A diagnosis with an X-ray image costs 125 euros. The treatment usually takes one to three visits and is performed by Dr. Robert Boyd, a dentist specialising in root canal treatment.
What the price of root canal treatment depends on
The price depends on the number of root canals and the extent of the inflammation. A front tooth usually has one root canal, a molar three or four. The more canals, the more work and the higher the price.
The tooth is restored during the root canal treatment, and this is included in the price. No separate restoration visit is needed. If the tooth later needs a crown, we tell you in the treatment plan in advance.
Root canal treatment or extraction: which is cheaper
The aim of root canal treatment is to keep your own tooth. If an inflamed tooth is extracted, it has to be replaced with an implant or a denture. Replacement with an implant costs 2235–2485 euros in total. Saving the tooth is usually cheaper than replacing it.
What the total consists of
| Stage | Time | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Diagnosis and X-ray | 1 visit | 125 € |
| Root canal treatment | 1–3 visits | 500–900 € |
The price depends on the number of root canals and the extent of the inflammation. We tell you the exact price after the diagnosis.
