If the tooth can no longer be repaired with fillings, a porcelain crown is a good solution. A missing tooth can be replaced with a bridge or implant. Dental crowns and bridges are cemented to the teeth and are similar to a real tooth in terms of material properties, appearance and function.<\/p>\n

Tooth crowns are advised for reasons such as tooth fracture, large cavities or to improve the cosmetic appearance of the tooth. Porcelain crowns and veneers are also done to improve the aesthetic appearance of teeth and to design a beautiful smile and are called cosmetic dentistry.<\/p>\n

Sirona Cerec 3D CAD\/CAM<\/a> system makes it possible to crown a tooth in a single visit, i.e. in 1.5 hours. The accuracy of such a crown is higher and the cost is slightly cheaper than a crown made in a dental technician's laboratory. <\/p>\n

Removable dentures <\/strong><\/p>\n

Complete or partial dentures can replace your missing teeth and give you the confidence to smile. Dentures can be used to replace teeth that have been lost due to trauma, decay, or gum disease. It is important to replace missing teeth, not only because teeth help with eating food, but because they help support the facial muscles and are important for fixing speech disorders.<\/p>\n

Full Dentures<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are two different types of removable full dentures - immediate and conventional. Immediate dentures are typically made when the patient\u2019s existing natural teeth are being removed and the new dentures are delivered the day of the extraction.<\/p>\n

Partial Denture<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

A partial denture is a removable dental appliance that replaces multiple missing teeth. It can be attached to the teeth with clasps, which are like small metal \u201cc\u201d clamps that hug nearby teeth, or may be attached to teeth with crowns with precision attachments (hidden clasps). Both types typically have a metal framework and plastic teeth and gum areas. A temporary partial denture may have a plastic base with no metal. <\/p>\n

We also make soft partial dentures which are more flexible than regular plastic dentures, these are suitable for patients with only some missing teeth.<\/p>\n

Dental Implants <\/strong><\/p>\n

Dental implants are an option in some cases. There needs to be sufficient bone for an implant. If there is not enough bone present, we may be able to add more bone through grafting.\n\nImplants can replace the single missing tooth, support a bridge or removable prosthesis.<\/p>\n

After the implants are placed and the bone around them is allowed to heal, porcelain teeth are attached to the implants. In this case, a three tooth bridge is placed on top of the two implants. This stays in the mouth and is only removable by a dental professional if maintenance is necessary<\/p>\n
